Ingredients Serving: 10
For the Dough :
Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup
Salt 3/4 teaspoon
sugar 1/2 teaspoon
Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
Baking powder 1.5 teaspoon
Curd as required to mix
Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons
For the Filling :
Garlic mayonnaise 4 tablespoons
Crumbled paneer 1/4 cup
Lettuce chopped 3 tablespoons
Cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons
Italian seasonings a preferred
Garam masala optional as per taste
Other Ingredients :
Oil for greasing
Cheddar cheese 3 tablespoons
Instructions
Take 1 cup whole wheat flour .
Add 3/4 teaspoon salt .
Add 1/2 teaspoon sugar .
Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda .
Add 1.5 teaspoon baking powder .
Mix all together until combined.
Make a well to the center , pour required curd gradually
while kneading to a smooth dough .
Add 3 tablespoons vegetable oil to the dough . Knead completely .
Punch and knead the dough back and front until smooth texture .
Cover the dough and rest for 30 minutes .
Divide the dough into 3 portions . Take 1 portion while saving the rest .
Roll the dough into a medium thickness long roti .
Spread garlic mayonnaise completely . Add seasonings of your choice. I added Italian .
Top it up with crumbled paneer, chopped lettuce, cheddar cheese.Sprinkle Garam masala(optional).
Now roll the roti from one towards to another into a log with sealed edges and sides . Cut the log
into medium sized scrolls . Gently
press the scrolls on top . Top it up
with cheddar cheese .
Line a greased thick aluminum sheet on the Tawa. Place the scrolls with sufficient space .
Cover with a heavy container . Before that seal the inner side of the container with aluminum sheet
This is to lock moisture for even quick baking . Bake for 15 minutes in low heat until the lower
side is brown , sides are sturdy to handle , cheese melted and set . Mini Mayo Scrolls are ready.
Serve hot . Enjoy this instant no yeast Mini Mayo scrolls . Relish !
