ABOUT Mango Sheera RECIPE

One childhood recipe which we all siblings relished whenever our mom made this amazing Mango Sheera during summer season. We use to love our summer vacation for 2 reasons one we get to eat loads of variety mango and mango dishes made by our mom 2nd holidays no to studies. This sheera holds lots of memory with mom, today am sharing this very simple , easy and quick recipe of my mom with you all, which you can make it for your kids in no time and am sure they will all enjoy this..my daughter loves this a lot, I usually makes this for her before she goes for her play in the evening at 4.30 pm. This dish has mango,ghee sugar and dry fruits which is very good for children and gives lots of energy for physical activity...so let's see this recipe

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Rava- 1 cup
  2. Sugar- 1 cup
  3. Mango- 1 take pulp and setaside
  4. Ghee- 1/2 to 1 cup depend on your taste
  5. Almond powder- 4 tbsp
  6. Milk- 2cups boiled
  7. Pinch of salt
  8. Few slice of mango cubes for garnishing
  9. few grated almond for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat pan and add ghee in to it, allow ghee to melt nicely.Add Rava and roast until raw smell of rava goes off.
  2. Add Mango pulp and stir well until mango mix well with rava, add almond powder and stir again.
  3. Add milk and stir well, make sure your gas flame is very low at this stage. Mix until mango and rava incorporate well with milk.
  4. Add Sugar at this stage and mix well. Stir continuously for 5 mins, at this stage if you want you can add more ghee as per your taste.
  5. Now check if rava starts leaving from pan and if it starts rolling nicely, it means your Sheera is ready to serve
  6. Take sheera in plate grate some almond and place few mango pieces and serve hot to your guest or to kids.
  7. Enjoy this healthy and yummy sheera any time during day or evening or in festival.
