ABOUT Sapota (chikoo) fruity eggless cake RECIPE

Sapota also known as "Chikoo" is a very familiar fruit. Sapota cake is my first trial and believe me it is very delicious and soft cake.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1and 1/2 cup wheat flour
  2. 1cup sapota(chikoo)paste
  3. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  4. 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  5. Pinch of salt
  6. 3/4 cup sugar powder
  7. 2TBSP BUTTER
  8. 1/2 cup lukewarm milk
  9. 2 tbsp chopped dry fruits(almond+raisins+walnut)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl sieve flour, salt,baking powder,baking soda.
  2. Wash,peel and cut chikoo pieces. Remove seeds.
  3. Make a paste of chikoo in grinder
  4. In another bowl mix sugar with butter.
  5. Add milk and again mix it.
  6. Now mix this liquid mixture in dry flour mixture.
  7. Add chikoo paste.
  8. Mix it very well and add dry fruits
  9. Grease a baking tin and sprinkle some flour. Tap out excess flour.
  10. Pour the cake better into tin.
  11. Bake this cake in preheated oven for30 minutes at180℃.
  12. After completely baked let be cool down it and then cut into slices.
  13. Delicious chikoo sapota cake is now ready.
