Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Poha 250 gm
  2. Peas 1/2 cup
  3. Oil 1 tbsp
  4. Carrots chopped small 1/2 cup
  5. Onion chopped 1/2 cup
  6. 1 boiled potato
  7. Desiccated coconut -2 tbsp
  8. Curry leaves- 6-7
  9. 1 tsp channa dal
  10. 1 tsp urad dal
  11. 1 green chilli chopped
  12. A pinch of turmeric powder
  13. Powdered sugar 1/2 tsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. White vinegar- 2 tsp or juice of one lemon
  16. Groundnut or moongfali- 2 tbsp
  17. Handful of dhania leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadhai, then add the dry dal and cook at a low flame till it turns golden.
  2. Then add the curry leaves, onion, green chilli, peas and carrots. Cook for 4 mins then add a pinch of haldi.
  3. Wash the poha in a strainer for few seconds and remove the water.
  4. Add the poha to the masala, then add salt, sugar, lemon juice and potato.
  5. Next add the ground nuts, desiccated coconut and toss it well.
  6. Now add the coriander on top and serve it hot with ketchup.
