ABOUT Aaloo Pizza/Potato Pizza RECIPE

An easy peasy recipe made out of boiled and mashed potatoes. Add some veggies and cheese and bake. That's it. Yummy and healthy pizza is ready to go into the lunch box or onto the breakfast table or as an afterschool snack. A pretty good idea for brunch or it can be a delicious appetizer too.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 4 Boiled and mashed par boiled potatoes
  2. 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  3. 1 cup Veggies like corn, capsicum and onion finely chopped
  4. 1/4 th cup pizza sauce
  5. 2 tbsp Dry parsley flakes
  6. 1 tbsp Red chilli flakes
  7. 1 tsp salt
  8. 1 tsp blackpepper powder
  9. 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. First of all preheat the oven to 180° for 10 minutes.
  2. By the time it is preheating, make small bowls out of the mashed potatoes.
  3. Add olive oil, salt and pepper to the potato mix before shaping.
  4. Spread some pizza sauce in the bowls and then top with the favourite veggies.
  5. Bake on 180° for about 20 minutes.
  6. After 20 minutes, remove and add generous amount of cheese on top. Bake again for 2 to 3 minutes just until the cheese melts.
  7. Serve hot right away.
