ABOUT Malai kofta RECIPE

This recipe is my own creativity. It is often eaten as punjabi dish but this you can eat during fast.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For kofta
  2. 3 big size boiled potatoes
  3. 1 tsp dry aamchur powder
  4. 1 tsp green chilli paste
  5. 1 tsp grated Ginger
  6. Pinch of garam masala
  7. 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves
  8. Salt to test
  9. 3 tbsp aararoot flour
  10. For stuffing
  11. 50 Gram granted paneer
  12. 1 tsp powder sugar
  13. 1 tbsp chopped raising
  14. 1tbsp chopped kaju
  15. For Greavy
  16. 1/4 cup soaked kaju paste
  17. 1/4 cup soaked magaj seeds paste
  18. 2 tbsp green chilli & ginger paste
  19. 1 small stick cinnamon
  20. 2 clove
  21. 1 bay leaf
  22. 4 whole black pepper
  23. 2 whole cardmom
  24. 1/2 cup fresh cream
  25. 1 cup water
  26. Salt to teste

Instructions

  1. For koftas, mash & boiled potatoes and mix with salt, chilli ,ginger paste,aararoot aamchur powder and mix well.
  2. Now fill the paneer stuffing in the koftas. Roll the kofta in aararoot and deep fry.
  3. For greavy: Heat oil in pan, add all whole spice and do the tempering.
  4. Now add chilli and ginger paste & soute . Now add kaju paste & magaj seeds paste also add water.
  5. Cook them for sometime. Now add salt, fresh cream pinch of garam masala also add stuffing which was left.
  6. Cook 2 minutes. For serving Place the fried koftas in a serving dish and pour hot gravy over it put some coriender in top.
