ABOUT paneer sesame curry RECIPE

It paneer cooked in sesame (white till) gravy, a decadent and creamy gravy to be served with some pulao or roti on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 200 gm paneer cut in cubes
  2. 2 large onions..chopped
  3. 1 tblsn ginger-garlic paste
  4. 1 tspn red chilli powder
  5. 1 /2 tspn turmeric powder
  6. 1 tspn fennel seed(saunf)
  7. 1/2 tspn garam masala powder
  8. 1/2tspn coriander powder
  9. 3 tblspn roasted sesame seed
  10. 1 tblspn roasted chana daal
  11. 1-2 tblspn oil
  12. 5-6 Curry Leaves
  13. 1 tspn aamchur powder
  14. 1 tblspn chopped coriander leaves
  15. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan add fennel seed,curry leaves,and onion
  2. Once the onion become translucent add ginger garlic paste
  3. cook till it become light brown ,then add roasted sesame,chana daal and mix it2
  4. Add garam masala,turmeric ,red chilli ,coriander powder to it ,mix well for 2 mins .Switch off the flame of the stove and grind this masala to a smooth paste
  5. ,Again heat the pan and add paste to it with little water let is simmer for 2 mins and add salt to it
  6. marinate paneer by sprinkiling pinch of salt and and mix it and ke ep aside for 10 mins
  7. add the marinated paneer to gravy mix it for 1 min and then add amchur powder to it and mix it well
  8. add chopped coriander leaves to it and mix
