ABOUT Sweet potato capsicum curry. RECIPE

A simple curry that goes well with chapathi or poori.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled sweet potato pieces 1cup
  2. Capsicum 1 small chopped
  3. Tomato 1 medium chopped
  4. Onion 1 chopped
  5. Green chilli 2 chopped
  6. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  7. Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Garam Masala 2 pinch.
  9. Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  10. Coriander leaves a few
  11. Curry leaves a few
  12. oil 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan with oil. Put must seeds & curry leaves. Fry.
  2. Then add onion & green chillies. Fry for a few seconds.
  3. Then put tomato & capsicum along with turmeric powder & chilli powder. Fry well , till tomato is well cooked.
  4. Add sweet potato , salt & 1 cup of water.
  5. Mash 3 ,4 pieces of sweet potatoes well, just to get gravy a bit thick.
  6. Add garam Masala ,curry leaves & coriander leaves. Cook till gravy is semi thick. Or , if u want it without gravy, add very little water & cook for some more time .
  7. Serve hot with chapathi or poori.
