ABOUT Chicken Curry (Native styled) RECIPE

It's My native styled Chicken curry which tastes delicious when sevred with hot ghee rice!!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken - 1kg
  2. chopped onions - 2
  3. Chopped tomatoes - 1big
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 2tbspn
  5. Curry leaves few
  6. Clove - 1
  7. Cardamom pods - 2
  8. Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
  9. Curd - 1tbspn
  10. Coconut milk - 1/4cup thick
  11. Coconut oil - 4tbspn
  12. Kayal Masala powder - 3 1/2 tbspn
  13. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. First marinate the chicken with masala , Ginger garlic paste , salt and little curd
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add the spices one by one.
  3. Add curry leaves, chopped onion and saute until the onion gets soft
  4. Add ginger garlic paste , curd and saute for few seconds
  5. Then add the tomato and saute until the raw smell goes.
  6. Now add the marinated chicken pieces and let it cook in lower flame.
  7. Once the oil gets separated from the curry add some water and cook it for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Once the chicken cooked add the coconut milk and switch off the flame after 5-10minutes
  9. Yummy and spicy Aromatic chicken curry is ready to eat
