ABOUT Chicken veggie Pizza RECIPE

My Kids.. They love pizzas.. so I started searching for good recipe. For pizza, Pizza dough is the main ingredient, next comes the cheese. If the dough is not good enough, Pizza does not taste good. Finally, I got my pizza dough recipe after a long time search and it worked out too. Now, if my kids want pizza, I can make in 2 hours either veggie or cheese or meat pizza or all three in one. I am happy to share my tasty and healthy recipe of pizza here in BetterButter. Please try it and enjoy. Thank you.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 31/2 to 4 cups Bread flour
  2. 1 teaspoon sugar
  3. 2 1/4 teaspoon instant dry yeast
  4. 2 teaspoon kosher salt
  5. 1 1/2 cups water 110 degree fahrenheit
  6. 2 table spoon olive oil plus 1 teaspoon
  7. 1/4 cup Pizza sauce or paste tomato sauce
  8. 1 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese
  9. 1/4 cup of Asiago cheese or Italian blend cheese(optional)
  10. 1 1/2 cups of mixed veggies like mushroom, spinach, onion, bell pepper, broccoli, jalapeno
  11. 1/2 cup of cooked breast chicken or popcorn chicken or chicken strip

Instructions

  1. Combine bread flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Mix these dry ingredients well.
  2. Now add the water little by little along with 2 tablespoons of olive oil until the dough forms into a ball. If the dough is sticky don't hesitate to add additional flour, 1 tablespoon at a time until the dough comes together into a ball .
  3. Scrape the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead into a smooth, firm ball.
  4. Grease a large bowl with the remaining 1 teaspoons olive oil, add the dough, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it double in size, about 1 1/2 hour.
  5. Turn the dough out from the bowl and place it onto a lightly floured surface and divide it into 2 equal pieces. Cover each with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Now flour the pizza pan.. I used 16" pizza pan, and keep it ready.
  7. Take the dough using the rolling pin, roll it smoothly into a circle shape. Now transfer the dough to the pan. Gently stretch the dough so it is not to thick or to thin.
  8. Now spread the pizza sauce, I used store bought pasta tomato sauce because it gives good taste, this is my secret pizza sauce.
  9. Then, add mozzarella cheese. you can reduce the amount of cheese to 1 cup, still it will taste good.
  10. Now, add the veggie one by one on one side of the pizza and place the cooked chicken in other half side of the pizza. I did half veggie and half chicken pizza. If you want you can make the whole pizza as chicken veggie pizza.
  11. Finally, add the Asiago cheese or Italian blend cheese for good flavor.
  12. Through the pizza in the preheated oven 425 degree, for 25 minutes or more depending on the conventional oven temperature, until the crust turns golden color and the cheese are melted.
