Healthy flaxeed parathas to enjoy on cold winter mornings.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Flaxeed-4 tblsp
  2. Jaggery(gur)-3 tblsp
  3. Whole wheat flour- 2cups
  4. Oil-2-3tblsp
  5. Water-for kneading

Instructions

  1. Mix wheat flour and water and knead into a soft dough
  2. Dry roast the flaxseed and grind into fine powder.
  3. Grate the jaggery.
  4. Combine the ground flaxseed and jaggery.
  5. Make small balls with the wheat flour dough.
  6. Fill each ball with a spoon full of the flaxseed jaggery mixture.
  7. Roll out the paratha to desirable thickness.
  8. Heat tawa.place the paratha on the tawa.
  9. Add little oil and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  10. Serve hot.
