Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Poha 1 cup
  2. Water 2 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Sugar 1 tsp
  5. Lemon 1 piece
  6. 1 large Boiled potato
  7. Asafoetida 1tsp
  8. 1 large onion finely chopped + 2 tsp for garnishing
  9. Tomato finely chopped 2tsp
  10. Beetroot 2tsp (optional)
  11. Coriander leaves 2tsp
  12. Poha masala 1 tsp (optional)
  13. Sev 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash poha 2 times then drain the water add sugar, salt and lemon mix it well then keep it aside.
  2. Add oil in kadhai warm it then add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, asefoetida, greenchilli and chopped onions and cook it.
  3. Now, add boiled potato and washed poha then mix it well then cover the kadhai with lid and let it warm for 5 minutes..
  4. Now, add poha masala mix it well
  5. Serve the poha hot and garnish it with choped tomato,onion,beetroot, coriander leaves and sev.
