ABOUT Eggless Healthy Suji Mango dry fruit Cake without oven - Semolina Mango dry fruit cake RECIPE

As my recipe name describes all that it is made up with sooji {semolina/rava} , mango and dry fruit. So it becomes very healthy for a pregnent lady or elderly people because i used sooji or semolina instead of maida so it becomes good for health.Dry fruits and mango is also very good.So this is best for a pregnent lady and eldery people as well

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Semolina / suji / Rava - 1 cup
  2. Bakinh powder 1-1/2 tsp
  3. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  4. Powderd sugar 1/2 cup
  5. Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  6. Mango pulp 1 cup
  7. Chopped dry fruits( almonds, cashews, pistas} or as per your choice
  8. Oil 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Firstly add semolina, mango pulp, powderd sugar and a little water to mix it well. Don't add much water because batter should not be runny.Batter's consistency should be smooth.It should not be very thick not thin.
  2. When sugar is properly dissolved then add baking powder, baking soda, oil and cardamom powder and mix it again add water if required
  3. Leave it for 15 minutes to set.
  4. After 15 minutes sooji absorb water so add little water in it to prepare a smooth consistency batter
  5. Moat important step. Remove whistle and rubber of cooker lid . Add a layer of salt or sand in cooker and cover with lid and preheat for 5 minutes
  6. Meanwhile grease a aluminium mould or cake tin with oil and then add batter in it . After adding batter in it add chopped dry fruits on the batter and tap the mould once
  7. Now open the cooker . Put steel sieve or stand in the cooker. Put cake mould in the cooker and close the cooker with lid and let it cook for 15 minutes on high flame and then 10 minutes on low flame flame
  8. Now turn off the gas and don't open the cooker for 5 minutes
  9. Open the cooker after 5 minutes take out the mould and let it cool
  10. Scrap the sides with knife and demould the cake
  11. Now serve this delicious And healthy cake treat to your loved ones
