Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Basmati rice 1 cup
  2. Water 1 1/2 cup
  3. Ghee 3 tsp
  4. Carrot 1
  5. Potato 3
  6. Cinnamon 1
  7. Cardamon 1
  8. Cloves 2
  9. Onion 2
  10. Tomato 2
  11. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  12. Chilli powder 1 tsp
  13. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  14. Curd 1/4 cup
  15. Coriander powder 1 tsp
  16. Salt (optional)
  17. Biryani masala (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak basmati rice for 30 min
  2. In pressure cooker, heat ghee and add spices.
  3. And Now saute the onion till golden brown and after that add ginger garlic paste.
  4. Saute for 5 minutes and then add chopped tomato,salt,chilli powder, coriander powder,garam masala,biryani masala(optional)
  5. Now add curd and mix well
  6. After few minutes, add potatoes and carrots, and required amount of water.
  7. Close the lid. wait for 1 whistle and then switch off the flame. Let the pressure settle down and then mix it well.
  8. Healthy yummy biryani is ready to taste.
