Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup blanched spinach puree
  2. 1/2 cup green moong beans
  3. 3/4 cup makhana
  4. 1/2 cup condensed milk
  5. 3 tsp honey
  6. 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
  7. 2 green cardamom whole
  8. 1/4 cup maava
  9. 3 tsp desiccated coconut
  10. 1/4 cup nuts chopped
  11. 3/4 cup Ghee
  12. Silver varaq and 1 tbsp slivered almonds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Soak Green Moong beans for 4 hours. Grind beans to smooth paste.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in pan,add makhana and roast for few minutes. Grind makhana coarsely and keep it aside
  3. In same pan,add 2 tbsp ghee and ground paste and saute until aromatic.Keep it aside. Add 2 tbsp ghee in same pan. Now add whole green cardamom and spinach Puree and cook for 5 minutes. Add 2 tbsp ghee and moong paste. Mix well
  4. Add remaining ghee gradually in between and mix well while stirring mixture
  5. Add condensed milk and stir continuously for 2 minutes.Now add roasted and coarsely ground makhana , desiccated coconut,and maava and mix well
  6. Finally add honey ,roasted nuts,and cardamom powder and mix well till mixture has thickened
  7. Now transfer this mixture to a greased tray and spread evenly ,garnish with silver waraq,desiccated coconut and almonds, sprinkle some cardamom powder over it.
  8. Refrigerate until set, slice and serve
