This is a mangloreian recipe its like idly.but it diffrent from idly becuse its so soft also called as mallige idly

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Idly rice 1/2 cup
  2. Boiled rice 1/2 cup
  3. Instant Yeast 1 tsp
  4. Sugar 1 tablespoon
  5. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak seperately idly rice,urad dal and boiled rice for 4 hours
  2. Grind separately to form smooth thick batter
  3. Mix them together. Add yeast and sugar. Mix well
  4. Add salt and mix well
  5. Add water if required, it should be thick batter
  6. Keep it aside for 8 hours to ferment
  7. Pour the batter into greased idli moulds
  8. Steam for 20 minutes and serve hot
