ABOUT Amla Gravy / Nellikai Arachukalakki (Superfood) RECIPE

Basically it is amla mixed with coconut curd mixture. It is a wonder dish. Very tasty and healthy with minimal cooking

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Amla 8
  2. Coconut 1/4 cup
  3. Green chillies 2
  4. Coriander leaves
  5. Hing
  6. Salt
  7. Curd
  8. For seasoning coconut oil
  9. Mustard
  10. Jeera
  11. Methi
  12. curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Steam cook Amla for 5 mins
  2. Add chopped coconut and green chillies in blender
  3. Add coriander leaves, salt and hing
  4. Deseed Amla and add it to blender. Use Amla stock to blender to grind to smooth paste
  5. Add Curd. Use pulse to blend
  6. Prepare seasoning with coconut oil, mustard, jeera, methi and curry leaves
  7. Add seasoning. Mix well
  8. Serve chilled
