Am living in Batlagundu Tamil Nadu,betal leaves famous in my town .so called Vathalagundu( in tamil vettrilai).so I would like to prepare this cookies.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. All purpose flour 100 grams
  2. Sugar 50 grams
  3. Butter 50 grams
  4. Betal leaves 10 Numbers
  5. Tutti Furriti 3 Tablespoons

Instructions

  1. First take a fresh washed Betal leaves.
  2. Cut in to small pieces.
  3. Grind the leaves. Use some water.
  4. Take bowl add a butter.
  5. Add a powder sugar.
  6. Mix well until lumppfree and fluffy batter.
  7. Then add a flour.
  8. Mix well until lumppfree. And add beat leaves juice.
  9. Mix well,Then add tutti frutti.
  10. Mix well and kept in Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  11. After 30 minutes Roll the dough.
  12. Using the round shape cutter and cut it.
  13. Arrange the gressing pan. For baking.
  14. Preheat the microwave oven for 170 degree celcious. And bake for 10-12 minutes.
  15. After baking Remove from oven and place on wire racks.
  16. Allowed cool completely. Then serve the Betal leaves cookies.
