ABOUT Pizza Balls/Bites RECIPE

A perfect snack with cup of hot Tea, Parties, Kids tiffin box. Easy to make , yummilicious in taste, these pizza bites/balls can be devoured any time..I had seen quite many pizza balls recipie however since past few days I have been making various kinds of pizzas, I decided to try this today and it was quickly consumed after I made it. Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. FOR PIZZA DOUGH
  2. 1 cup warm water or as required
  3. 2 cups maida
  4. Salt
  5. Olive oil
  6. 1tbsp Sugar
  7. 1.5 tsp Yeast
  8. For pizza toppings
  9. 1 cup Capscicum, Bell peppers thinly sliced
  10. oregano
  11. Salt and pepper to taste
  12. Red chilli flakes
  13. Pizza sauce
  14. Olive oil
  15. Grated mozzarella cheese
  16. Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast sugar and lukewarm water. Keep it aside until it becomes frothy
  2. To this add flour and salt.knead the dough. It will be soft and sticky. It's ok. Add olive oil and knead it again. Cover it and Keep it aside for 1-2 hours and it will double in size. Punch the air and now add additional flour as required and make soft dough
  3. Meanwhile in a bowl add capscicum and bell pepper with salt pepper oregano olive oil and red chilli flakes and mix it
  4. Now roll the dough as small to medium puris or in squares. Apply pizza sauce towards the centre. On the sauce place small toppings and little amount of grated cheese. Gently fold to make ball. Now seal the edges with water.
  5. In case you wish you can store this dough in fridge for 2 days. Keep it in a bigger container.
  6. Heat the oil in a wok now place the sealed edge towards bottom and fry the balls until golden brown
  7. Place it on absorbent towel to absorb excess oil. Serve warm with sauce or ketchup
  8. You can bake these balls too for healthier version
