Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Parboiled Rice 1 cup
  2. Urad dal 1/2 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp
  5. Bengal gram 1 teaspoon
  6. Oil as required to make dosas
  7. FOR THE CHICKEN FILLING ;
  8. Chicken boneless cubes 250 grams
  9. Red Chilli Flakes 1 tablespoon
  10. Tikka masala 1 teaspoon
  11. Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  12. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  13. Butter 1 tablespoon + oil 1 teaspoon
  14. Curry leaves few
  15. Chilli Garlic sauce 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Make a thick batter with all the ingredients mentioned under the dosa batter.
  2. Leave it to ferment overnight.
  3. Make dosas or uttappams as per your preference.
  4. Saute the chicken as desired using the ingredient list.
  5. Add butter + oil and the curry leaves followed by the rest of the ingredients.
  6. Stir well and allow to cook on low flame for 12 to 15 minutes.
  7. After done, switch off the flame.
  8. Keep aside until assembling.
  9. Spread the sauteed chicken on the dosas or the uttappams at first.
  10. You can opt for coconut chutney , mayonnaise or even the good old ketchup.
  11. Try this awesome frankie the next time you prepare the batter for steaming hot dosas.
