Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Butter 1/2 cup
  2. Milk 1 cup
  3. All purpose flour 2 tablespoon
  4. Penne pasta 1 packet
  5. Oil 3 tablespoons
  6. 1 onion chopped
  7. Bell peppers (green,yellow,red)
  8. Carrot 1 chopped
  9. Ginger 1/2 tablespoon chopped
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Milk 1 tablespoon
  12. Tomato basil sauce 2 tablespoons
  13. White sauce 1 cup
  14. Processed cheese grated 1/2cup

Instructions

  1. Melt the 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan.Take the pan off the heat and gradually stir in 1 cup milk to get a smooth sauce.
  2. Return to the heat and, stirring all the time, bring to the boil.Add 2tsps of all purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Simmer gently for 8-10 minutes and season with salt.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a non stick pan, add ginger, onions and sauté for a minute. Add all the chopped vegetables green, salt and mix well.
  5. Add tomato basil sauce and mix.
  6. Add penne pasta and 1tsp oil and mix well.Add ½ cup white sauce and 1tsp milk and mix well. Transfer into the spring form tin, press lightly and level the surface.
  7. Put the remaining white sauce on top. Sprinkle cheese and pat lightly. Keep the cake tin in the cooker by applying oil to it.
  8. Cook it for 45minutes and let it stand for a few minutes. Cut into wedges and serve.
