ABOUT Homemade Applesauce RECIPE

Apples are a great source of natural fiber and vitamin C. Applesauce can be used in various desserts as substitute for butter/eggs while baking. Its easy to make and brings in right flavor when used in desserts

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Apples 4
  2. Water 3/4 cup
  3. Sugar(optional) 1/4 cup
  4. Cinnamon (optional) 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Peel core and chop apples into small cubes
  2. Take a pan , add water sugar Cinnamon and apples
  3. Boil it and allow it to cook on low to medium flame for 15-20 minutes until Apple has become very soft
  4. Using potato masher or back of big round laddle mash it well
  5. Cool it, store it in airtight container and refrigerate it. You can keep it for 2 weeks
