Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Yellow/green dry peas soaked 1 cup
  2. Potato peeled and cubed 1 large
  3. Carrot cubed 1 large
  4. Onion cubed 1 large
  5. Tomato cubed 1 large
  6. Garlic 5 numbers
  7. Ginger 1 inch
  8. Coriander seeds 1 Tablespoon
  9. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  10. Cinnamon 1 inch
  11. Cloves 3 numbers
  12. Pepper 8 numbers
  13. Fennel seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  14. Red chilly 6 numbers
  15. Chat masala 1/2 teaspoon
  16. Pav baji masala 1 teaspoon
  17. Jaggery 3 teaspoon
  18. Gol gappa/crispy puris
  19. Finely chopped onion 1 cup
  20. finely chopped coriander leaves 1 cup
  21. Sev 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Cook peas carrot and potato till three whistles
  2. Dry roast coriander seeds,cumin seeds,cinnamon,pepper fennel seeds,red chilly and grind it nicely
  3. Saute onion,garlic,ginger and tomato.
  4. Blend this with the cooked peas carrot and potato
  5. Keep some peas with out grinding
  6. In the pan pour the ground vegetable paste and cooked peas
  7. Add some water and boil it
  8. Add the ( ground) masala powder
  9. Add chat masala, pav baji masala, jaggery salt and boil it well
  10. Add some more water if needed.
  11. Crush the puris and pour the gravy over it add sprinkle some chopped onion, coriander leaves and sev.
  12. If needed sprinkle some lemon juice over it
  13. Serve hot
