Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Rice flour 2cup
  2. Urad dal 1 cup
  3. Oats half cup
  4. Muesli half cup
  5. Jageery 4tsp
  6. Banana leaf 1 piece

Instructions

  1. First soak the urad dal for 5 hrs and grind it and then allow it to ferment for 2 hrs in room temperature
  2. Now add rice flour atta to the urad dal batter mixture. Whisk the batter well.
  3. Now for the middle portion stuffing take oats, muesli, coconut powder, melted jageery and mix thoroughly. Add elachi powder and keep aside
  4. Now in a pressure cooker fill water and keep a aluminium vessel to pour the batter. First place a banana leaf in the vessel. Pour one layer of batter. Then add the muesli coconut mixture.
  5. Again put a layer rice urad dal batter. Fold the banana leaf to cover it. Steam it for 30 mins.
  6. Check if cooked. Remove from flame . Serve hot or chilled.
