Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Moong dal 1 cup
  2. Peas 2 cup
  3. Turmeric 1tsp
  4. Rice 2 cup
  5. Ghee 1tsp
  6. Bay leaf
  7. Hing1tsp
  8. Oil 1tsp

Instructions

  1. Soak basmati rice for 1hr
  2. Now heat oil and ghee in pressure cooker and add the dry spices. Saute well till aromatic
  3. Now add the moong dal and peas saute well till half cooked. Now add the rice. Add the turmeric n hing. Add water 2 cup to make a gravy type peas kichuri.
  4. Pressure cook for 4 whistle on low flame
  5. Cool and serve hot with papad n garnish with ghee n coriander leaves
