fact is lauki is very healthy and easy to digest,I always want to try something new with bottle gourd which is healthy and sweet because was bored of eating lauki in same way,first I thought don't know how will be the outcome of this sweet but believe me it was superb texture and taste both,was really happy with outcome,this sweet have very less calories so everyone one can eat adults kiddos and those on diet too..friends do try this innovative recipe by myself Poonam Kothari

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1medium size bottle gourd peeled and grated
  2. milk 2cups
  3. mawa/khoya 1/2 cup
  4. sugar 1/2 cup
  5. rose essence 1/2 tsp
  6. cardmom powder 1/2 tsp
  7. gulkand 1tbsp
  8. chopped mixed dry fruits 1 tbsp
  9. pan masala 1 tsp (easily available with panwala)
  10. silver warq/edible silver foil for garnish
  11. 2drops of green color

Instructions

  1. keep milk for boiling in nonstick pan
  2. when quantity become half add mawa
  3. stir for 2minutes
  4. add grated bottle gourd
  5. it leaves water but keep on cooking
  6. it becomes dough like
  7. now add sugar
  8. again it leaves water
  9. let it cook till dough like consistency
  10. now switch off flame
  11. add cardmom powder
  12. cool it completely
  13. add green color
  14. mix it properly
  15. now we will make stuffing
  16. add dry fruits to gulkand
  17. add pan masala
  18. add rose water
  19. mix it properly
  20. take small portion of bottle gourd
  21. spread on your palm
  22. keep stuffing in between
  23. fold from all sides and make ladoo
  24. garnish with waraq/edible foil
  25. serve with love
