Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cinnamon - 4 tsp
  2. Cloves - 1 tsp
  3. Nutmeg - 1 tsp
  4. White Pepper - 1/4 tsp
  5. Dry Ginger - 1/2 tsp
  6. Cardamom - 1/4 tsp
  7. Mace - 1/4 tsp
  8. Cold unsalted butter - 1/2 cup
  9. White Granulated Sugar - 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons
  10. Packed Dark Brown Sugar - 3/4 cup
  11. Vanilla Extract - 1 1/2 tsp
  12. All purpose flour - 1 3/4 cup
  13. Milk - 2 tbsp
  14. Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
  15. Cling Film

Instructions

  1. Take all the spices mentioned in the list and grind them to a fine powder
  2. In a bowl, add the butter, sugar, salt, vanilla extract and baking soda. Beat until fluffy.
  3. Sift in the flour and the spice mixture to the butter mixture.
  4. Now combine the mixture to form a dough.
  5. Wrap it in a cling film and refrigerate for an hour.
  6. Just before taking the dough out, pre heat the oven to 200 degrees celsius.
  7. Cut 1/2' sized cookies from the refrigerated dough and arrange on a baking tray, lined with a parchment paper.
  8. Bake at 190 degrees celsius for about 9 = 11 minutes.
