Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Daliya /Broken wheat /Fada -1 cup
  2. Carrot,chopped-1/2 cup
  3. Green peas /Matar-1/2 cup
  4. Green chili,chopped-1 tsp
  5. Lemon juice- 2.5 tsp
  6. Fresh coriander chopped- 2 tbsp
  7. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. Chili powder- 1 tsp
  9. Salt- to taste
  10. Water -2.5 cup
  11. Cooking oil /ghee- 2 .5 tbsp
  12. Mustard seeds /Rai- 1tsp
  13. Cumin seeds /Jeera- 1/3 tsp
  14. Curry Leaves-8
  15. Asafoetida /Hing- 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil or ghee in the pressure cooker.
  2. Now add daliya and saute for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Add all the spices ,vegetables(except lemon juice and fresh coriander)and water.
  4. Pressure cook on medium heat for 2 whistles.
  5. Let it cool down completely.
  6. Then open the cooker ,add lemon juice and chopped coriander and fluff gently.
  7. Serve hot.
