Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cauliflower
  2. 2 red chillies make a paste of it with water
  3. 2 tsp schezwan sauce
  4. 1 & 1/2 tsp tomato sauce
  5. 1 & 1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
  6. 1/2 tsp soya sauce
  7. 1/4 tsp vinegar
  8. A pinch sugar
  9. 2 tsp black pepper powder
  10. Salt
  11. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  12. Garlic paste 3-4 tsp
  13. 1 tsp Lemon juice
  14. Flour 1/2 cup
  15. 1 cup corn flour and 2 tbsp of cornflour kept seperately.
  16. 1 onion cut into large cubes
  17. 1 capsicum cut into large cubes
  18. 4-6 pieces of garlic cut into small pieces
  19. Quater inch of ginger cut into small pieces
  20. 2 green chillies slitted
  21. Refined oil for frying
  22. Water
  23. spring onion for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take a cauliflower wash and cut out the florets of cauliflower.
  2. Boil water in a pan and add the cauliflower florets into it. cook it for 3-5 minutes till it becomes soften. Strain the cauliflower florets and let it cool.
  3. Now take a bowl add the garlic paste, add half tsp of black pepper powder,a pinch of salt ,2 tsp red chilli powder, add the cauliflower florets , add 1 tsp of lemon juice and 2 - 3 tsp of refined oil. Mix well so that the mixture covers the floret and rest it for 15 - 20 minutes. After 15-20 minutes sprinkle 1 tbsp of cornflour on the marinated cauliflower florets and mix well.
  4. In a bowl add 1/2 cup flour, add 1 cup cornflower and little water make a batter .
  5. Heat oil for frying on medium flame
  6. Now dip the caulifower florets into the flour and cornflour batter and fry till golden in colour.
  7. Now in a sauce pan add 2 tbsp of oil and cut garlic, add cut ginger add slitted chillies and saughty for a minute till garlic changes its colour. Now add red chilli paste , add schezwan sauce saughty it for 2 minutes.now add 1 /2 cup of water cover it and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  8. Add capsicum, add onions to it. Add a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper powder.cook it for 5 minutes.
  9. Now in a bowl take soya sauce , chilli sauce, tomato sauce ,add a pinch of salt, pinch of black pepper, a pinch of sugar add vinegar ,add 2 tbsp water whisk well. Add it into the sauce pan and cook it for 5 minutes. Cover it and cook for another 2 minutes.
  10. Add the fried cauliflower into the above sauce and mix well
  11. Take a bowl add one tbsp cornflour add a bit of water and make a batter
  12. Add the cornflour batter into it and bring it to a boil.turn off the gas
  13. Serve hot and garnish it with sring onions.
