Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 3 ripe bananas mashed
  2. 1 tsp Ginger powder or grated ginger
  3. 1 cup all purpose flour
  4. 1/2 cup oats
  5. 1⁄2 cup Butter, melted
  6. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  7. 1/4 cup Honey
  8. 1⁄2 cup Buttermilk
  9. 1 tsp soda bicarbonate
  10. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  11. Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
  2. Grease and lightly sprinkle some flour into the bread loaf pan.
  3. Take a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas with butter. Beat it.
  4. Add sugar and honey. Beat it.
  5. Add butter milk. Beat it.
  6. Add Soda bicarbonate, baking powder, ginger powder and salt. Beat it.
  7. Add the oats, mix it.
  8. Add the flour and mix it until all the ingredients has incorporated well.
  9. Pour the mixture into the bread loaf pan.
  10. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Allow it to cool before removing from pan. Cool it completely before cutting.
