Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 gm baby potatoes boiled and peeled
  2. 3 onion chopped and paste
  3. 2 inch ginger and 3 green chillies paste
  4. 2 toamtoes chopped
  5. 1 bay leaf
  6. A pinch hing
  7. Sugar 1/2 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  10. Coriander powder 1.5 tsp
  11. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  12. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  13. Yogurt 2 Tbsp
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in kadhai fry the boiled baby potatoes and keep aside
  2. In a pan heat oil. add bay leaf and hing
  3. Add the onion paste and sugar. Fry till pinkish brown
  4. Add the tomatoes and fry till mushy
  5. Add ginger and chilli paste . Fry till fat separates
  6. Add yogurt mix and cook the masala
  7. Add salt and fried potatoes. Mix well.
  8. Add 1/2 cup water. Stir and cook for 5 to 6 min
  9. Serve with luchi
