ABOUT Crispy Baby Corn Chilli RECIPE

Baby corn chilli is an easy Indo - Chinese recipe that is quick to prepare. It makes an excellent starter or side dish at home parties.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Baby corn 11-12
  2. Cornflour powder 2 tablespoon
  3. Maida 1 tablespoon
  4. Rice flour 1 tablespoon
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Black Pepper 1 teaspoon
  7. Soya sauce 1 teaspoon
  8. Vinegar 1 teaspoon
  9. Water for mixing
  10. Ginger garlic minced 1 tablespoon
  11. Onion 1 chopped
  12. Capsicum chopped
  13. Green chillies chopped
  14. Spring onion chopped
  15. Tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon
  16. Soya sauce 1/2 tablespoon
  17. Sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  18. Oil to fry

Instructions

  1. Cut the baby corn into halves. Take a bowl add cornflour, maida, rice flour, salt, black pepper, soy sauce and make a thick batter.
  2. Add baby corn and coat with cornflour batter.
  3. Heat oil in a kadahi, then add baby corn and deep fry them till they turn golden in colour and crisp.
  4. Drain them to a tissue or a plate.
  5. Now heat 2-3 spoon oil in a pan add green chillies, minced ginger - garlic after few seconds add onions and saute for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Then add capsicum and saute for 3-4 minutes add black pepper sugar, salt, soy sauce, vinegar and tomato ketchup and mix them well.
  7. Now add fried baby corn in it and mix very well. Sprinkle spring onions and saute.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your crispy baby corn chilli.
