ABOUT Pani Puri RECIPE

Mouth watering dish of India, where crisp fried dough balls are stuffed with potatoes, sprouts, spicy tangy water or sweet chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Coriander leaves 2 cups
  2. Cumin powder (roasted) 1 teaspoon
  3. Chopped onions 2 cups
  4. Potato 3
  5. Chat masala 1 tablespoon
  6. Chopped mint leaves 1/2 cup
  7. Ginger 1/2 inch
  8. Green chillies 4
  9. Tamarind 1/2 cup
  10. Jaggery 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. First take 2 cup rava. Add salt and make dough. Keep it for 1 hour. Cover it by wet cloth.
  2. Now form small small portion of dough and make very small size puris. Fry these puris in pan to high flame and remove immediately.
  3. Pani recipe - Make green chutney with coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger, chilies in a blender.
  4. Add one litre of water to 2 tablespoon panipuri masala, chat masala, 1.5 tablespoon boondi, black salt as required. Add all the ingredients mentioned above for the pani. Remove the green chutney in a large bowl. Chill the pani in freezer.
  5. Preparing Stuffing for Pani Puri: Boil the potatoes, peel and mash them. Finely chop the onion. In a small bowl, mix the potatoes, onions, coriander leaves, cumin powder, chaat masala powder and black salt in it.
  6. Assembling Pani Puri: Crack the top of the puri with a spoon. Add 2 to 3 teaspoon of the boiled potato-onion filling in the poori. Stir the green pani first and the sweet chutney as per your taste. Serve the pani puri .
