This is a fusion dish between Gujrati Dhokla and South Indian Idli.

For the white portion:
Suji 1 cup
Bread slice (cut all the edges) 1
Curd 1/2cup
Water as required for batter.
Salt {as per the personal preference}
Eno 1packet
For middle layer :
Chopped onion 1/2Cup
Chopped bell peppers (yellow, red) 1/2cup
Sweet Corn 1/4Cup
Tomatoes chopped 1/4 th Cup
Coriander chopped 1tbsp
mustard seeds 1tsp
Salt
Garam masala 1tsp
Degimirch powder 1 tsp
sugar 1 tsp
for the yellow portion:
Gram flour 2Cup
Curd 1cup
Water as required for batter.
Asfoetida {hing} 1Pinch
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Salt
Eno 1 packet
Instructions
For white portion, Mix all ingredients to combine. add the packet of eno at the end.
Heat oil in a wok add mustard seeds followed by the onion. shallow fry the onion add all vegetables one by one. Add salt and tomatoes in the last. Keep it aside.
Mix all ingredients, leave eno for last to be mixed.
Take a greased idli plate first put the yellow batter , then add the vegetable layer and cover it with the white batter. Keep it in a cooker or in a idli pot. Steam for 5 min.
Take it out from the pot and serve.
Pour tadka of mustard seeds, curry leaves ,whole red chillies on Dhokoidli. Enjoy with your evening tea or eat them as a part of the morning breakfast.
