Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw banana 1
  2. Roasted semolina 4 tbsp
  3. Cottage cheese 1/4 cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Onion chopped 3 tbsp
  6. Carrot chopped 3 tbsp
  7. Capsicum chopped 3 tbsp
  8. Green chilli 1, chopped
  9. Coriander leaves, chopped 3 tbsp
  10. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Chat masala 1/2 tsp
  12. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  13. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil raw banana peal and mash it in a vessel.
  2. Add semolina, cottage cheese, onion, capsicum, carrot, green chilli to it.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander leaves, lemon juice, chat masala to it and mix well to make a dough.
  4. Take small portions of the dough and give a desired shape to it.
  5. Deep fry coquettes in hot oil on high flame till golden brown and crisp in texture.
  6. Serve with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
