Chicken korma is a delicious main dish that can be served with parathas.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken - 1/2 kg
  2. Onions - 2, medium
  3. Tomato - 1, small
  4. Yogurt - 1/2 cup
  5. Chicken masala - 1 pkt
  6. Chilli powder - 2 tbsp
  7. Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  10. Turmeric powder - a pinch
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Shallow fry onions in a pan till they turn dark brown. Take them out and keep aside.
  2. In the same pan add the chicken and ginger garlic paste. Fry for 3 minutes on medium to high flame.
  3. Meanwhile crush the onions, mix in yogurt. Add tomatoes, chilli powder, chicken masala-, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt. Keep it aside.
  4. Fry for 5 to 7 minutes and add the yogurt onion paste. Cook it till the oil oozes from the curry with the lid on on low flame.
  5. Once cooked, add coriander leaves and put off the flame.
