ABOUT Healthy Pizza RECIPE

Pizza is a favorite dish of most of the kids.Here is a healthy version of Pizza.Here I use only gram dal to make the base.The toppings and the garnishings may vary.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Gram dal-1/2 cup
  2. Finely chopped onion -1
  3. Mixed herbs-1tsp
  4. Garlic -2cloves
  5. Green chili - 2
  6. Salt to taste
  7. oil-2tbsp
  8. For topping-
  9. Chopped onion -1/2 cup
  10. Chopped capsicum -1/2 cup
  11. Chopped baby corn-1/4 cup
  12. Oil-1tbsp
  13. Oregano-2 tsp
  14. Chili flakes -2 tsp
  15. Pizza sauce -1tbsp
  16. Mozzarella cheese (grated)-1cup
  17. Tomato sauce -1tbsp

Instructions

  1. Soak the gram dal for 4 hours.
  2. Grind dal, garlic, green chilies to a fine paste.
  3. Add finely chopped onion, mixed herbs and salt to taste to it.
  4. Heat a Tawa.Brush oil.put a spoonful dal mixture on it.spread.Roast till brown from both the side by adding some oil.
  5. Keep these base aside.
  6. Heat a pan add 1 tbsp oil.
  7. Add onion, capsicum, baby corn to it add salt fry for 3 minutes.
  8. Add 1tbsp pizza sauce,1/2tsp oregano, 1/2tsp chili flakes to it.Mix well.
  9. Heat Tawa keeps it in low.Put one base on it.Spread some onion capsicum mixture. Spread some mozzarella cheese on it. Garnish with baby corn, tomato. Cover it.
  10. After 5 min removes the cover Sprinkle oregano and chili flakes.serve with tomato sauce.
