ABOUT Three Ingredient Bengan (brinjal) Bharta.( 1970's recepie) RECIPE

My mother used to make this with Bajra roti and green gram curry.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Brinjal 1 (big)
  2. Curd 1 cup
  3. Onion chopped 1 (big)
  4. Green chillies chopped 2
  5. Coriander leaves finely chopped for garnish.

Instructions

  1. Just grease brinjal and roast on open flame on stove top.
  2. Roast brown from all sides. Let it cool.
  3. Peel and mash.
  4. Now add chopped onion and curd. Add chopped green chillies.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
