Protein rich roasted & powdered urad dal in yogurt gravy with fried okra
In a pan dry roast the urad dal to light brown. Let it cool, later in mixie make a powder (not very fine) out of it (a little coarse ).
Cut the ladies fingers to roundels, Deep fry them in oil and keep aside .
Now take 2 tblsp of urad dal powder in a vessel to this add salt, curd, water and whisk it well without any lumps. It should be of running consistency.
At the time of serving give a tadka of mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chillies and add the fried ladies finger to the curd mixture with chopped coriander leaves. Would taste better if served cold.
