Curd is such a versatile ingredient that I get surprised as to how wonderful this dairy product is and can be used for both savory and sweet dishes. So incorporating this curd into something extra delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Chicken - 500 gm
  2. Curd - 300 gm
  3. Chopped onion - 2
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  6. Roasted garam masala powder (cinnamon, cloves, elaichi, coriander, jeera, pepper corns and jaiphal) - 1 tsp
  7. Refined oil - 1 tsp
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. Bay leaf - 1
  10. Dry red chillies- 2

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with curd and salt overnight.
  2. Heat a kadhai with oil.
  3. When hot, add chopped onions and saute till golden brown.
  4. Add the ginger garlic paste and all the powdered masalas.
  5. Then add the marinated chicken and cook.
  6. Cook on a low flame till the chicken is done.
  7. Add water for gravy, bring upto boil and check for salt. Serve
