ABOUT Fresh Mango Salad. RECIPE

Mango salad is so bang on with flavors and fits perfectly to the summers wherein mangoes are available abundantly. This salad is not from Indian cuisine but its flavors blend in so well into it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 large : ripe mango cubed
  2. 1 medium : red bell pepper chopped
  3. 1 medium : onion finely chopped
  4. 1 tbsp : Jalapenos finely chopped
  5. 2 tbsp : Mint leaves finely chopped
  6. 1/4 cup : Cilantro finely chopped
  7. 2 tbsp : Roasted cumin powder (or to taste)
  8. 3 tbsp : Lemon juice (or to taste)
  9. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop the mango, bell pepper, onion into bite size pieces and add them to a salad bowl.
  2. Next stir in finely chopped jalapenos, cilantro and mint leaves.
  3. Now add the lemon juice, salt, cumin powder. Toss them until well coated.
  4. Chill the salad for half hour and serve with tortilla chips.
  5. Sweet mango, spicy jalapeno, earthy cumin flavors make the salad stand out and one of its kind.
