Raw Banana Fritters

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. raw bananas-4
  2. salt to taste
  3. 1 tea spoon turmeric powder
  4. 10 curry leaves chopped
  5. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  6. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  7. 4 tablespoons rice flour
  8. 2 teaspoons tamarind pulp
  9. 2 tablespoons oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Peel, slice and boil the bananas with salt and turmeric powder for five minutes and cool
  2. Mix together the curry leaves, red chilli powder, coriander powder, rice flour
  3. With tamarind plup and two table spoons of oil. Apply this paste evenly on the bananas slices
  4. Let it rest for fifteen minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a pan and shallow fry the banana slices till crisp and golden on both sides.
  5. Arrange in the plate and serve hot
