Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Oats 1 cup
  2. Sooji/ Rawa/ Semolina 1 cup
  3. Curd - 1 1/2 cup
  4. water as required
  5. Grated carrot. 2 Table spoons
  6. Green peas or Corn 2 Tablespoons
  7. finely chopped coriander
  8. salt as required
  9. Baking soda 1 pinch
  10. Peanuts / Chana dhal / Split urad dhal 2 tsp (for seasoning)
  11. Mustard seeds 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Dry Roast oats & rawa seperately .
  2. In a bowl mix oats, rawa , grated carrot , Peas , coriander , curd , water & mix well.
  3. Add salt as required
  4. The consistency of the batter should not be watery but of pouring consistency. Add water as per required.
  5. Now season in oil, Mustard, channa dhal & add it to the oats mixture.
  6. Add baking soda & mix well.
  7. let it remain for 15 minutes
  8. Water can be added if the batter has become thick
  9. Pour it in idli maker & cook like idlies
  10. The Same batter can be used for making dosa. water can be added to the batter for making dosa
  11. Healthy, easy preparation for breakfast or dinner
