ABOUT Multigrain Khichadi and Veggie Pudalaa RECIPE
Pudalaa is very popular Snacks among Gujaratis. I have used different flours with Khichadi and veggies. My grand daughters are very fussy about food so we try to give them one pot meal / snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 6
Khichadi ( leftover / fresh).1 cup
Besan 3/4 cup
Yellow Maize flour 1/2 cup
Wheat flour 1/4 cup
Jowar flour 1/4 cup
Soya flour 1/2 cup
Rice flour 1/4 Cup
Carrot grated 1
Spinach leaves finely chopped 15 no.
Tomato finely chopped 1 ( big ).
Kasoori Methi 1 tbsp
Curd 2 tsp
Garlic crushed 1 tsp
Ginger grated 1 tsp
Ajwain 1/2 tsp
Sesame seeds 1 tsp
Dhania powder 1 tsp
Chill powder 1 tsp
Garam masaala 1 tsp
Salt to taste.
Oil for shallow frying
Pickle masala ( for elders).
Instructions
Blend Khichadi in blender.
Add all flours and masala
Add grated Carrot and Spinach too. Add curd and water to make batter
Add 2 tsp hot oil in batter and mix we.
Heat oil in a nonstick griddle. Pour a ladle full of batter. Cover with a lid and let it cook.
Flip over as one side cooks. Apply oil to other side too.
Cook both sides by pressing with spatula. Serve hot with pickle .
Kids can eat it with tomato ketchup or plain with a cup of tea /Coffee.
