ABOUT Kachhi Haldi ka Achaar (Fresh Turmeric Pickle) RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Fresh Turmeric - 250 gms, julienned
  2. Green Chillies - 10-12, slit lenghtwise
  3. Lemons - 2-3, cut into 8
  4. Lemon Juice - half cup, freshly squeezed
  5. Salt - according to taste

Instructions

  1. Take a large glass bowl and combine the turmeric, green chillies and lemon pieces. Add salt.
  2. Next, add the lemon juice and stir well.
  3. Transfer everything to a sterile (clean and dry) glass jar and cover with its lid.
  4. Keep the pickle in sun for 4 days.
