ABOUT Whole Wheat Veggie Bread RECIPE

My idea.. wheat is more than enough to satisfy your desires of hunger and nutrition . This time I've decided to take it all to a next level and use a whole lot of veggies along with the all time spices . Serve this along with the coleslaw salad or enjoy it as it is . Either way you'll not regret it.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  2. 1 tbsp yeast
  3. 2 - 3 garlic cloves ; minced
  4. 1/4th cup beans ; finely chopped
  5. 1/4th cups bellpeppers ; finely chopped
  6. 1/4th cup peas ; slightly mashed
  7. 1/4th cup carrots ; finely chopped
  8. 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  9. 1 tbsp black seeds
  10. 1/4th cup oil
  11. About 3/4th cup warm milk
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1 tbsp black pepper powder
  14. 1/4th cup fresh coriander and parsley ; finely chopped
  15. 1 tbsp of butter

Instructions

  1. In the warm milk , add the yeast and set aside .
  2. In a large bowl , add the flour , salt , black pepper , garlic , bellpeppers , carrots , peas , sesame seeds and black seeds along with oil and coriander and parsley and give it all a good mix .
  3. With the help of your hands , knead the dough with the yeast milk and set it to rise in a warm place for about an hour .
  4. In the meanwhile , prepare the loaf pan by greasing it .
  5. When the dough is done , put it into the greased loaf pan and spread it out evenly .
  6. Let this sit in a warm place for a second round of rising for about 20 mins .
  7. In the meanwhile , preheat the oven to 180° .
  8. Bake this bread for about 20 - 25 mins or till well baked through .
  9. Cut through the bread only after it has completely cooled down to get perfect slices .
  10. For a glaze , brush some butter over the surface .
  11. Serve it with salads or enjoy alongside soups .
