ABOUT Gulab jamun cookies RECIPE

These are simply yummy cookies made a quick way with no fuss at all. When guests are coming you just bake them and serve them . They will love it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gulab Jamun 200 gm packet
  2. Fine Sugar - 1-2 cup according to your taste bud
  3. Butter 50gm
  4. Milk 1-2 teaspoon
  5. Cardamom powder - A pinch
  6. Colourful cookie sprinklers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180c
  2. In a bowl melt the butter and add the dry ingredients. Then add the milk and make a dough . If you find your dough to be too dry u can add a teaspoon of refined oil.
  3. Now let the dough rest for about 5-10 min in the freeze.
  4. Line your baking tray with the parchment paper.
  5. Now take out your dough and roll them into small balls then flatten them with your hands. Press them with a fork if you want to give them some designs. Mine didn't work out :( Place them in the tray and line them keeping some distance between the cookies because when baked they will rise and expand. Atlast top it with some sprinklers or chocolate chips if you want.
  6. About 10 cookies will yield if the size is bigger and if made smaller ones like those made by me (refer the picture) then you can make around 20/22 cookies.
  7. Bake these for about 10-15 mins depending on the size of your cookies. When the sides turn brown bring them out and let them cool. They will automatically become crunchy after sometime. TADA YOUR COOKIES ARE READY. YUMMY , EASY AND TASTY.
