ABOUT Diet Paratha RECIPE

I call it Diet Parantha as its filling is most nourishing . Low fat Tofu and Boiled potatoes ,Spiced with chaat masala salt pepper added crunch of Pomegranate dry seeds (anardana) and onions for flavour.Filled and Rolled like Parantha but not even shallow fried .Greased skillet used for right effect.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3medium Potatoes
  2. 4-5 pieces of Tofu
  3. 1 small onion
  4. 1 small bunch fresh Cilantro
  5. 1 tblspn anardana
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 100 grams Soya flour
  8. 100 grams wheat flour( optional)
  9. 1 tblspoon chaat masala
  10. 1 tspn pepper
  11. Olive oil or Saffola to grease the skillet /tava

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes well peel and cool
  2. Once cooled mash /break potatoes
  3. Collect the filling by keeping handy the Tofu pieces and chopped onion along with potatoes
  4. Now season this with chaat masala some salt and pepper also add anardana
  5. Knead the flour now mixing soya and wheat flour (optional to use any as per your choice or both)
  6. Chop some cilantro in the potato Tofu mix and prepare a mash
  7. Heat your skillet on slow flame
  8. Start making portions of flour into balls
  9. Roll these into small pooris , now add filling as per the preferred thickness of paratha less or more
  10. Roll softly into paranthas and grease the heated tava
  11. Roast the parantha well on the Tava and enjoy hot
  12. I enjoy it with Lime pickle
