ABOUT Baked dahi vadas RECIPE

Healthy version of dahi vada is here .Tastes same as the fried one . These are super yummy and irresistable.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Vadas
  2. 1/2 cup Urad dal
  3. 1-2 Green chillies
  4. 1/2 tsp unflavored eno salt
  5. 2 cup buttermilk
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Oil for greasing
  8. For curd
  9. 2 cups curd
  10. black salt to taste
  11. FOR GARNISH
  12. Roasted jeera powder 2 tspn
  13. 1/2 tspn Red Chilli powder
  14. 2-3 tspn sweet imli and saunth chutney
  15. black salt to taste
  16. 2-3 spoon anar dana
  17. 4-5 tspn aloo bhujia or bhujia
  18. 1/2 tspn coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Soak urad dal for 2 hours in warm water
  2. Now grind soaked dal and green chillies into fine paste
  3. Mix eno salt
  4. Now put this mix into greased micro safe bowls or idli stand
  5. Microwave it for 3 mins
  6. Allow it to cool and then unmould it
  7. Bake 4 at a time
  8. Now put them in butter milk mix for few mins or until they soak the salted butter milk
  9. Squeeze extra buttermilk out and put them on serving plate
  10. Put fresh curd .on vadas now garnish with red chilli powder black salt, jeera powder and imli chutney,
  11. Now sprinkle some aloo bhujia , anardana and green coriander leaves.
  12. Serve chilled
