ABOUT Cornbread RECIPE

Healthy and fibre packed bread made of cornmeal.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida 1/2 cup
  2. Cornmeal 1/2 cup
  3. Egg 1
  4. Sugar 1/4 cup
  5. Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  6. Salt 1/2 tsp
  7. Milk 1/2 cup
  8. Oil 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Take the flour, cornmeal, baking powder in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Next break the egg in a mixing bowl and beat it.
  3. Add salt, sugar, milk, and oil and whisk nicely.
  4. Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and fold gently to make a smooth batter.
  5. Grease a microwave-safe bowl or cake pan.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased pan and microwave on high for 5 mins.
  7. Take out from microwave, let it cool down. Demould it, cut and serve.
